Work @ Hand

So I graduate very soon (B.A., Behavioral Science, double major in Psychology from San José State University). Originally grad school was the path I'd intended to take. Towards the end of last semester, taking more school was not looking very appealing to me, so I began to look into other alternatives. None of those panned out, and going to grad school in Fall 2009 didn't look like it was going to happen either. After a lot of thought, reflection, and prayer I settled on the idea that I needed to go to work for a while. Grad school would come in time.

In this economy getting a job seems a daunting task, but I know there is work out there. If working is what I am to be doing, then I know there is a place where I'm needed and employment waiting for me. So I have begun the process and I think I will detail my experiences here. Keeping track of what happens, what event occur, what I learn, and my growth will be of great worth to me, and quite possibly others as well.

We shall see the preparation I go through before I get a job (resumé, networking, cover letter, etc.), actually getting the job (it will happen before 8/09), and then it will progress into the development of my career and the growth and paths I take from there. It will be an enlightening, turbulent, yet fun ride.

Also formatting of this page is to follow soon. Promise.
